Samsung HealthHi, Im new in S health, I have galaxy watch 46 mm and I have these problems .. . When I use my watch training (cycling or hiking) and then check the statistics in app s health I don't see elavtion gain, +/- total ascent, percentage of ascent only what can be seen is highest and lowest elevation like in the picture ... What's wrong? It's possible to get this data from the app? Thank for your advise

Samsung HealthHey @ Rasťo
You can keep track of your achievements and distance using the Alti-Barometer app on Galaxy Watch. The watch has internal sensors that measures your altitude and can tell how far you are above sea level, and the current atmospheric pressure.
Note: Available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider, software version, phone, or watch.

Samsung HealthIt used to show elevation gain when I was using my old S6. I can't see this is much of an upgrade if it provides less information. I really miss the elevation gain feature...

Samsung HealthHello Meagan,
I am sorry to have to say that, but your reply is not true. I have the same issue as the others - before I got the Samsung watch, Samsung health recorded also the total elevation gain for the given activity (hiking, cycling...). See bottom left on screenshot.
However, when recording the workout from the Samsung watch 4, the information about the elevation gain is not available and on top of that, the phone does not display the current workout data during the workout(I used the s.health app as Cyclo computer before, now it is not possible). On top of that, when I try to record the workout on the phone, all I get is duration - no data about position, speed or heart rate is recorded.
the elevation gain is a crucia metric for outdoor activities in the mountains. Could you please fix that somehow? It is very disappointing, that with more gear you get less data :(
Thank you in advance

Samsung HealthAnd 2 years later...still no elevation gain. Is the only sports tracking app that lacks this feature. It's really annoying.
Nobody understand the meaning of two metrics included instead elevation gain.
Pleaseeeee fix that

Samsung HealthI have the same issue. I can only see the highest and lowest elevation. I used app on galaxy watch active 2 to measure run and cycling. Weird thing is that few years back when i was using samsung health without watch i had ascent descent and elevation gain! Samsung needs to fix this!

Samsung HealthHi Michaela28, The elevation gain might be removed as a part of the update and it is suggested to use the Samsung watch to get accurate measurements.
