Samsung HealthSamsung Health says my maximum heart rate should 220 minus my age. Based on that calculated maximum heart rate, Samsung Health then sets the zones of heart rate ranges for me, like maximum, anaerobic, aerobic, etc.
Samsung Health is not properly listing my heart rate zones because it is incorrectly calculating my maximum heart rate. In other words, the app is not following the 200 minus my age to set my maximum heart rate.
This has happened twice while I have been using Samsung Health to record my heart rate data through my paired Scosche heart rate monitor. Most of the time over the past 1.5 years or so, my heart rate zones have been correct (based on the 220 minus age formula to set maximum heart rate). Both times the ranges stopped working correctly (by giving me an inflated maximum heart rate that does not match the 220 minus my age formula) it was right after I updated the Samsung Health app.
The app started randomly working correctly after the first break down. But this second break down has never corrected.
I have even gotten a new phone (S22 Ultra) and restored my old heart rate data to the new phone and the Samsung Health app still has the incorrect maximum heart rate and the zones are all thus off.
Will Samsung fix this widespread and long-standing problem? There are many threads about this issue and Samsung still has not responded or fixed the problem.
The issue is NOT my Scosche heart rate monitor -- it is the Samsung Health app not following the 220 minus my age formula.
Thank you.

Samsung HealthI've got the same problem with the Samsung Health app on my phone not calculating max heart rate. It shows 188, but it should be 150. How long does it take to fix your code? A feature that is broken is the same as no feature at all! How do I apply for a refund on this product that advertises features that don't work?
