I cannot figure out why nutrient data is duplicating from MyFitnessPal to Samsung Health.  I've tried a myriad of things to correct this to no avail.  Here are some of the actions taken:

- Tried linking MyFitnessPal to Samsung Health through MyFitnessPal's connected apps.  I've tried Health Connect and I've tried Samsung Health -- never at same time.

- I've tried modifying Health Connect settings, such as turning off Samsung Health permission to write Nutrition data -- permitting only read access.

- I've deleted the Health Connect Nutrition server saves and allowed it to re-populate.

- I've looked at the data uploaded from MyFitnessPal onto Health Connect server.  It appears correct and listed only once.

- Tried clearing cache and data, uninstalling and re-installing MyFitnessPal.

- Making sure applications are updated through Google Play.

I've resorted to turning off Nutrition sync in Health Connect for now.  So, no nutrition data is being synced.

Hi Grimloktt,

We are sorry to hear this issue from you and appreciate your efforts in performing all the necessary troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

Please try to Unlink and re-link MyFitnessPal with Samsung Health or Health Connect, but not both at the same time.

Alsso, ensure background sync settings are not conflicting, check Health Connect permissions. If nothing works as a last resort, consider clearing data in Samsung Health. This will reset the app, potentially clearing any residual sync data that might be causing duplication.

Once you're ready to sync again, enable only one app for Nutrition syncing (either through MyFitnessPal or Health Connect).

Thank you.

Thank you for your reply.  None of those seem to fix it.  Any other ideas?

- I already tried this.  In my original post, I offered that I "Tried linking MyFitnessPal to Samsung Health through MyFitnessPal's connected apps. I've tried Health Connect and I've tried Samsung Health -- never at same time."

- I don't want to loose all my workout and other health data.

I am experiencing the exact same thing and have also found no solution to resolve this despite trying many things listed here and on other websites. I also am not going to purge / lose all my data when clearly this appears to be a bug with the application.
