SmartthingsI have an HW-Q800A soundbar that I can't control through SmartThings. They pair and connect through Bluetooth and I can send audio to the soundbar but that's all. It won't let me control other aspects like volume, sound mode, woofer volume, etc. I have tried on a Samsung phone and a Samsung tablet, disconnected and re-connected, etc to no avail.

SmartthingsHi JohnL1, we suggest you to upgarde the firmware and see if it works normally. Here are the steps for how to upgarde.
- Turn on the Soundbar and insert the USB drive into the SERVICE port located on the bottom of the Main Unit. The software will begin to update automatically in less than one minute.
- The update sequence as below table.(It would take around 3 minutes).
- After update, product will power off automatically.
※ When there are more than one function blocks to be updated(B/E,Micom,etc), the updates for each function blocks will be executed sequentially after reboot so it may reboot multiple times.

SmartthingsThanks for the reply Reynaud, but it didn't help. I downloaded and put the update on 2 different USB drives and tried both. The display didn't show any activity. (My model HW-Q800A has a different display, as shown in the F/W Upgrade Guide.) I suspect the firmware is already up-to-date. Any other ideas?
