I have a three year old 65" UHD curved smart tv and over the weekend I heard a loud pop, sparks behind my TV, and a burning smell. I unplugged everything to be safe. Later, plugged it back in, nothing. Blank screen. As expected. I filed a Samsung ticket online. Their response was to have me call them instead. Why have the online support option at all if you're going to funnel all customers through your phone line?

They then ask me for a bill of sale, which I found and called them back. It was a whole process trying to get it sent to them. Their call centre staff is awful. You can't hear them. They're like robots. They might as well be AI. They just gave me some numbers of repair shops. Didn't care that this tv they made is basically a safety hazard. Their reps are rude and atrocious and were cackling loudly with me on the line.

Never buying Samsung again. Their TVs will literally set themselves on fire whenever they feel like it.
