We're sorry to hear you're experiencing issues updating your Galaxy SmartTag2. Please try the following steps and see if it helps to resolve the issue.
Clear SmartThings App Cache: Go to Settings > Apps > SmartThings > Storage > Clear cache
(You can also try clearing data if the issue persists — please note this will reset SmartThings app settings).
Reboot Both Devices: Restart your phone and remove the SmartTag2 battery (if removable), then reinsert and try again.
Unpair & Re-add the SmartTag2: In SmartThings, remove the SmartTag2 from your devices. Reset the tag (hold down the button until you hear a long beep or LED flashes). Reconnect and try the firmware update again.

SmartthingsI have tried all the solutions you wrote but still no luck on updating. It does not update and ask updating again and again, also it does not update its location too ( same old route i used to get many updates usually. )
