TabletsI recently bought Tab S6 lite which comes with a passive S pen included. Out of the box the S pen didn't work with the screen, however it worked on A Note 20 Ultra, and the Notes's S-spen didn't work on the Tab S6 lite. So i sent the product back as "Dead on arrival" and after 3 weeks the technichans who diagnosed stated in the report "could not reproduce the issue, S pen works fine. They did some SW update and sent back the product."
After getting the product the S-pen works for ~2min then stops working again. Rebooting/ soft rebooting the Tablet sometime helps but soon again the S pen stops working. The tablet is now updated to the latest SW. Anyone else with similiar issue and how they got around or is it just a defect product and shall i send it back and ask for a refund?
Thanks
/Saro

TabletsHey sarbat1,
Welcome to the Samsung Members Canada community.
I suggest you to perform the wipe cache partition of the device and check if it works.
Here are the steps to follow the wipe cache partition.
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Power key.
- When the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 logo screen displays, release only the Power key
- When the Android logo displays, release all keys.
- Wait while 'Installing system update' shows for about 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press Power key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Power key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to restart the device.

TabletsIt came with Android 11 then I did a full system update. That upgraded me to Android 13. The pen didn't work for either version yet I'm writing this with a $15 Stylus I got on Amazon.
Since this is a brand new tablet which I haven't started using yet clearing the cache etc. is irrelevant.
Any suggestions?
This was an Open Box purchase from Best Buy not one of their 3rd party sellers.
