TabletsHello Samsung Community,
I had received my Tab s6 lite yesterday and found it very annoying that my S-pen is hypersensitive to the tab screen, the pen is able to perform actions and write on the screen without even touching it and just hovering on it, I am unable to take notes or make accurate taps on the screen as the hovering and actually touching of the screen make the actions to not work, I need your help I see YouTube videos where people are able to seamlessly write with the pen, and even if they lift the pen up( which we usually do while writing), it doesn't create any marks or strokes. Please just me how can I get rid of this issue, my pen just performs everything with me just hovering on it even while maintaining a fair distance from the screen. Please help as I checked every setting I can find and tried turning them off nothing worked, is there any way? I am also attaching a picture for your reference you can see the pen without even touching the screen draws on it. Highly disappointed please help.
Thanks

TabletsHi @Aditya2406,
Please check the below options and try to disable each and check.
Air view: Turn Air view on or off. This feature lets you preview information, text, and images by hovering your S Pen over the screen.
Pointer: Turn the pointer on or off. The pointer appears on the screen when the tip of the S Pen is hovering close enough. Holding the pointer over some features can reveal what an item is or what it does.
Direct pen input: Turn the Direct pen input feature on or off. This feature allows you to switch from the keyboard to the S Pen when you want to type.
Follow the below steps:
Open Settings >> Advanced Features >> select S Pen >> choose Air actions >> Disable.
Get back to us with the result.

Tabletsto nail this problem the best thing you can do is visit the nearest best buy or similar store and test your s6 borrowing an spen from any display model.
you can use any spen (note 8, note 9, tab s3, tab s4, etc...) for this test.
if this borrowed spen works, then you know the problem is your spen and can focus on it.
it's of paramount importance to narrow down the problem.

TabletsI have the exact same problem and the 'enable s-pen' is only on some apps not all of them. So I the problem is fixed on one app, it isn't fixed on every app I am having the most trouble with Office-Word that I downloaded. It's also happening with Samsung notes as well. Anything I can write on really.

TabletsI had this issue after replacing my tip with one from Amazon. It was because I had pressed the tip in too far. Try removing the tip and reinserting gently, letting the pressure of writing do most of the hard work and try not to bare down too hard. It worked for me.

TabletsI had this issue after replacing the pen nib. My pen was working perfectly for a year, so it must have been the act of replacing it that caused the problem. For me, I took the nib out again, blew on the nib and the hole in the pen, and put it back.
No idea if it was dust, or maybe not in tightly enough? Here's hoping this helps someone else!
