I have a problem. When I write some text in a text area directly in a note in the app Samsung Notes from a pdf for a course (school), I convert my whole note in pdf so I can open it with Adobe. However, in Adobe, when I want to make a research (ctrl + F), it only finds in the original text from the course pdf and it do not search in the extra notes that I took by inserting a text area in Samsung Notes.

What can I do so ctrl + F can find in the notes that I aded myself in a text area and not only search in the original text from the unmodified pdf from my course ? Something to do in Smasung Notes robably.

Thank you for your help

Hi BudStan,

Thank you for reaching out regarding your experience with Samsung Notes and exported PDFs. It seems like the issue arises because the text you add in Samsung Notes is not being embedded as searchable text in the exported PDF. Instead, it might be treated as an image.

Please try the below steps to make your added notes searchable in Adobe:

Check Export Settings in Samsung Notes: Ensure that Samsung Notes is exporting the text as editable and searchable content. Look for any export options that specify text layers or searchable text.

Add Notes in a Different Way: Instead of using a text area in Samsung Notes, try typing directly onto the PDF using a PDF editor app. This ensures the text is embedded as searchable content.

Please let us know if that works for you and reach out to us if you need any additional assistance.

Hi! Thank you for your time. I did not find any settings that are for export in the Samsung Notes settings. ☹️

I use the pdf24 website online that has every pdf edit feature I could ever need. I use the pdf ocr recognize tool, and it makes everything within the pdf properly searchable.
