Sorry to hear this buggy experience on your device and appreciate your efforts in trying the basic troubleshooting steps:
Boot your tablet into Safe Mode to see if a third-party app is causing interference.
- Hold the Power button until the power off menu appears.
- Tap and hold the Power Off option until Safe Mode appears.
- If the pen works in Safe Mode, a third-party app might be causing the issue.
If possible, try using another compatible S Pen. If the other S Pen works, it indicates a hardware issue with your current S Pen.
Inspect both the S Pen nib and the tablet’s screen for any physical damage that might prevent proper function.
Please reset the S Pen Settings: Go to Settings > Advanced Features > S Pen and look for an option to reset the S Pen settings. This could restore any malfunctioning configuration.
