TabletsEver since my galaxy tab A8 did a software update last week, my screensaver has been acting up. I screen capture videos every day for a game that I can't replay. The screensaver will start like usual but then interface in the top right corner will just disappear. When I drag down from the top, the screen recorder icon is still highlighted but nothing is saved and all my work is lost. Clicking the screen recorder button again prompts to save a new screen recording.
The failure seems unpredictable. Sometimes it fails a few minutes in, sometimes it records successfully for 10 min. I've checked my settings any everything seems right. My tablet has plenty of storage and I upload all videos to my computer hard drive every day and delete them off the tablet everyday. What else can I do?

Just to confirm is the screen recorder worked before the update?
Some apps may block the screen recorder feature due to copyright restrictions. Availability of some features will vary by model and software version.

TabletsYes, the screen recorder worked fine before the update. I've noticed that the menu and icons do look different, but the start/stop work the same. I don't think the app is blocking the screen recorder as it has only failed once last week and today, but I pretty much record every day and have been for the last two years. It doesn't even give me an error message or anything when it fails, I just look to the upper right and notice that the recording grey menu is no longer there and nothing exists in my recordings.
