I have gigabit internet with wifi 6 routers. My S23U connects at shows 1.2gb/s connection speeds. It does fluctuate a bit but the speed test maxes at 600mbs which is fine and normal but the tablet only connects to the same channel at 250mbs max. Sometimes as low as 100mbs. If I switch to an older router 5ghz channel it will connect at 500mbs. The speed test is 500mbs too.
Why is it connecting so slow to a wifi 6 router now? It didn't use to. I try resetting the network connection but it didn't help.

Is your router using a shared network as in you o ly have 1 SSID?

IF so look at splitting your network SSIDs into
2.4 ghz for devices that only cab use that (typically older home cameras, digital weight scales and LED connected lights & hubs.

5Ghz for your laptops PS4/Xbox and similar PCs that can only use 802.11 b/g/n/AC.

6Ghz that can use it. Most devices can't yet use that standard - I'm unsure 6E can be user by 23U but I could be wrong.

Ensure you use a laptop as not to be locked out when setting this up.

Then test again.

Open settings>>General management>>Reset>>Factory reset.

Ok thanks. It seems it has occurred after the last update. It's probably some driver bug

I did a factory reset and its still the same. So far even the standard 5ghz is slower now too.

So after completing the entire reset its exactly the same as before. The standard 5ghz is faster than the wifi6 by almost double. I know i used to get good speeds with the tablet. Its like Samsung wants me to upgrade. I hope it doesnt quit completely.

I have the same issue with my Tab S7+. The 5GHz wifi performance dropped off badly woth a recent update - not sure exactly which one. If you monitor the connection speed to the AP  you will see it is changing much more often than it should and never makes a conection at 866Mbps like it used to (and my other Samsung devices still are). Looks like a driver bug to me but since its now a couple of generations old Samsung probably wont fix it!

Ya it had a recent security update and I had hoped for a fix but it's still the same. Would be nice if someone could roll back and see if it is working correctly again.

Hi, I have the same issue. Now the movies, Youtube, Smartview are lagging. This is so pitty that Samsung did not test before releasing upgrades at least on previous flagship devices. When does Samsung plan to fix it?
