TabletsHi,
I bought a Tab S8 Ultra couple of weeks ago. Works well, except one thing: location doesn't work most of the time. I do get a location fix from time to time, but not often. Most of the time, when I open Google map, I'll get a note on my location saying that it is out of date as it was last updated X (often in the thousands) minutes ago.
Other app have the same problem. I checked the setting and everything looks good, location is enabled, WiFi scanning and bluetooth scanning are both enabled. Note that my phone (S22 Ultra) has no trouble getting a location a the same place.
Anyone has that kind of issue or a fix for that?

TabletsHi, please check that the tablets is set to a Power saving mode.
For the best GPS signal, the device should be set to High performance or Optimized.
The app that uses GPS (like Google Maps) is listed as a sleeping app.
You'll need to remove it from the list.

TabletsIt is not a phone, it's a tablet. I don't have "High performance" or "Optimized", all I have is "Power saving" with an on or off switch. It is off, which means that no power saving features are in use.
Google maps isn't listed as a sleeping apps. But even if it was, I would understand that it doesn't get a GPS while in the background, but it should still be able to get one when opening it.

TabletsHi, please check if the tablet is connected to Active Wi-Fi network.
If possible, please connect to a different Wi-Fi network like you can try Mobile Hotspot on the phone and connect the tablet to it, then check the location.
