Are there any issues connecting to other devices?

Like, connecting your S20 to other Bluetooth devices?

Try isolating if the issue is with the phone or your BT speaker itself.

I only use my Bluetooth to use the speaker. I.dont have the internet in my place so I usey mobile phone data to watch Netflix in my
TV etc..

I did have the speaker connected to my old iPhone and after I searched on google it said having it paired with another phone could be an issue so I am about to turn that off and restart this phone and the speaker and see if Bluetooth will pick it up

Yes, you can try that. Make sure your speaker is in pairing mode. Better if you try turning off your iPhone's Bluetooth first before connecting to ensure no one is connected to the speaker.

Try removing any and all paired devices from Bluetooth settings and try again, that might help.

I have tried everything, the sim card I had in my iPhone that had no issues with my Bluetooth speaker is now in this phone and has no sim in it and turned off. This phone is set up using my partner's details and.newly.created Samsung account/google etc and new emails. The iPhone and even my old Samsung both had no issues using the Bluetooth speaker. But this I can't get it to work.

Also when it Bluetooth on my phone scans to connect the only available device that comes up looks like a T.V with numbers that I don't recognise on any of my devices and even when I click on it to pair it says couldn't connect. And I can't remove it because I don't know what device it is coming from.

I also don't have any contacts sharing enabled. This speaker is rather basic it is just an on/off button, volume buttons and play with a charger connection and it is charged. All I had to do before was turn on Bluetooth on my phone and turn on the bluetooth speaker button and I was good to go.

A bluetooth device that is already paired with another device cannot be connected until unpaired from the first device. If you have that device life is easy, just turn on the first device and unpair it. If the first device is not available start Googling woth phrases like "how to unpair from unavailable device" and variants on that wording. It is possible, I have read up on it previously. Consider using the make or model in your search options. When playing around remember to restart your phone every now and again in case restarting is needed as part of the process.

You may find help using the main Community page, top roght, search option and searching for how to unpair bluetooth device when locked to another device.

This was my uncle's phone prior to it being factory wiped at a Samsung store and given to me. Can it still be paired to some other device of his even after a proper reset done at Samsung?

Also thank you for all the replies and help 🙏 I am very grateful as this is testing my patience something shocking. 😂

Occasionally there is a compatability problem between different versions of bluetooth although bluetooth is supposed to be backward compatible. Again Googling blutooth compatabolity might supply more info on this.
