Solar cell Remote control not working!

Bought the 65" Q70A QLED 4K Smart TV (2021) two weeks ago.  Seem to be having problems with the solar cell remote control.  It switches on and off fine.  But, none of the other remote control buttons work.  The TV freezes at the last program that was played previously. This has happened twice now.  When it happened the first time, I tried recharging the remote with a power cable and did a reset of the pairing. But, why is this happening so frequently. Please advice. Thanks.

Hi @Chandv, please try some of the below troubleshooting steps and let me know how you go:

1. Restart your TV by switching it off and unplug your TV from the power outlet for a minute. Then re-plug your TV back in and test whether the remote is responsive. 
 
2. Hold the Back and Play/Pause buttons simultaneously for at least 5 seconds or until a message appears on your TV indicating that the remote is now connected. Test to see if your remote is responsive.

I have turned the TV on and off, have charged both via USB and solar. Still having issues, the message in the photo keeps appearing every few seconds, either batt charging or low battery within a few seconds of the other.20211126_061154_22605.jpg20211126_061142_22604.jpg

S95b remote control issues. Talk to samsung about it ,they said faulty and will be replaced in 2 weeks. Now after 20 days nothing happened. Can someone please get in touch with me?

My Samsung Q70AA solar TV remote doesn’t charge at all under sunlight or indoor under lamps. it does charge over USB-c though, so the issue seems to be related only to the back solar panel. I  was wondering how to ask for a replacement since I am still under warranty thanks

Has anyone found a fix yet?  This is a ridiculous issue to have happen on a $4K+ TV less than 15mths old.
