People say this new buds 3 line up can be located even inside the case.
But it is not working. As long as my buds inside their case, they are not connected to my phone. If that so, they can't be located afterall. Are they even be able to be located with find my even inside their case??? I have this galaxy buds 3 pro and it has been missing inside the house. I have missplaced it somewhere and I can't even find it nearby cuz it is inside the case.

Hi BYN0110,

Galaxy Buds typically need to be actively connected to your phone via Bluetooth to send their location. When the buds are in the case, they usually disconnect to conserve power, making them untraceable in real-time.

Even if tracking is possible, the buds likely enter a low-power state inside the case. This could disable any active broadcasting of their location.

Use SmartThings Find: Open the SmartThings app on your phone. Navigate to Find → Select your Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Look for their last known location.

Search Nearby with Bluetooth: The app might show "Nearby" if your buds were broadcasting before going into the case. Try physically moving around your home while refreshing the location.

Thank you.

Hi BYN0110,

Pairing is the initial setup process that establishes a trusted link between two Bluetooth devices (like your earbuds and phone).

Paired devices remain listed in your Bluetooth settings but aren’t actively communicating until connected.

If your Galaxy Buds are inside their case, they remain paired with your phone but disconnect to conserve battery.

They must be out of the case and active to establish a live connection with your phone for tasks like playing music or using tracking features like Find My.

Yes bluetooth is how these wearable devices connect to the phone. If they are nearby and trying to connect with the buds app doesn't work they buds battery may be depleted or they are not able to connect due to adverse location. Try moving around the house and connecting with the device. Maybe they are in your vehicle

No
I have done this many times.
Whenever it is inside the case, it is not connected which means, it can't be located.
I just found it inside my room which I was in when trying to find my it.
