I am really enjoying my Galaxy Buds Pro set, although the factory tips were not good. I have ears that require that the tips extend further in to my ear canal.  I got spinfit tips, and they are pretty good.  I actually ended up with a raw/bleeding spot on one of my ears because the housing was rubbing badly on one spot while I was trying to get a fit. (Now that I have fixed that, I have to say, these sound spectacular!!)

Anyway, that is not the reason for my message here. It's clear that these Buds have the DSP horsepower to do a fair bit, but the Equalizer leaves SO MUCH to be desired! Just giving the user a few presets, which are based on what one person might prefer for each genre, gives the impression of a giant copout. These are the 'Pro' models, right? Why then does the user not get at least a 10 band equalizer similar to the phones? For a 'Pro' branded device, that would be the least I would expect. Perhaps it could be an optional, 'advanced' eq setting.

Please consider this, as it would be much preferred to the EQ apps. If EQ apps are needed though, I am really impressed with the 'Poweramp Equalizer'. In order for this EQ to work with apps using older playback methods, some special permissions need to be set via ADB. I did this, and it is a satisfactory workaround.

I didn't 'buy into' the TWB's until the technology matured a bit, but for years, I have been listening to reviews of other units, and it seemed like a feature that was pretty much a foregone conclusion. Not any more I guess! I'm sure a firmware update could add it, so, Samsung, please?
