Galaxy watch 4 voice message sending failed

Ive been using Samsung's messages app to send voice message on my watch 4. But then it stop working, keep saying sending failed. Okay if I send vioce messages through my phone. Speakers are working if I just call on my watch. Anyone know what's with it? And how to fix the problem? I believe Samsung message app it's the only app support voice message on the watch. Google message doesn't have that function.

Hi, we suggest you to please do disconnect your watch with your phone try to connect again. If the issue still persists again then please follow this given below:   

Voice Recorder Record or play voice recordings.

Making voice recordings

1 Tap (Voice Recorder) on the Apps screen.

2 Tap to start recording. Speak into the Watch’s microphone. To pause recording, tap . Change the recording mode. Start recording. Check your saved recordings.

3 Tap to finish recording. The recording will be saved automatically.

4 To listen to the recorded sound, select a recording file and tap Play. Changing the recording mode Tap (Voice Recorder) on the Apps screen. Select a mode you want. • : This is the normal recording mode. • : The Watch records your voice for up to 10 minutes, converts it to text, and then saves it. For best results, keep the Watch near your mouth and speak loudly and clearly in a quiet place. If the speech-to-text language does not match the language you are speaking, the Watch will not recognise your voice. Before using this feature, tap Speech-to-text to set the speech-to-text language.

Thanks for the reply. However, my problem is not the speech to text function. What I've been doing is sending a voice record itself as a message to others through the Samsung message app on my watch. But somehow it stop working. Whenever I send a voice record it shows sending failed. It works if I just use my phone to send the voice message. I am sure the speaker on the watch is working.

This might be out of topic. Do you have issue using phone sending voice message. Not your watch, but your phone. The setting might have mess up on the phone, but not watch itself. Test phone if you can send audio file there. If it does work then retry watch again. If the phone fail from sending audio memo then there issue from there. Watch carbon copy with phone.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it does work on the phone. Really frustrating. I have resetting the watch many times too, doesn't help.

Can you list apps version on your watch. Voice recorder, Samsung keyboards, Samsung message and Samsung voice input. Look into on wear app on your phone. Possible app needs some update fix these glitches. Verify areas.

Are you still having issue even fully updated apps? Send error reports to Samsung. Try ask people from reddit. Community..... @.@ I'm still thinking phone apn has to do something about it. I don't know Carrier. Official or third-party listed apn fix issue. Default apn listed incorrectly.
