Notification locked up GW4

Got a scare today, especially when we are hearing about GW4's bricking.

A notification popped up, on my watch, and then the screen, immediately, went blank.  Touching it did nothing hitting the main button did nothing.  Holding the button down few seconds did nothing.  Then, after 2 or 3 minutes, the screen lit up, but response was a bit slow.  Over time everything seems back to normal.

Very strange.  Now I wonder if this is going to recur.

If it does an you did the update samsung will repair the watch at no cost to you , you'll just need to reach out to them

Please follow these steps:

Back up personal data on the Watch 4 device before updating the software.

You can back up and restore personal data on the watch device to the Samsung cloud.

You can also check your Samsung or Google account registered on your connected mobile phone and copy your Google account to your Watch device.

You can proceed that through the following path on the Galaxy Wearable screen of your mobile phone.

Path: Watch settings > Account and back up.
