I need some help deciding between buying a Samsung 4G smartwatch or an unbranded kids' 4G smartwatch on Amazon for my 12-year-old child. I want the smartwatch to have access to WhatsApp, calling, video calls, texting, and the ability to track my child. I don't want to give him a phone, but I think a watch with these features would be helpful.

He had a smartwatch with a sim card that I bought on Amazon, but it's not working anymore. It was a good one, sadly it's not durable.
Thanks Kenz8M! I just want to confirm - does the watch have a sim card and does it not require a phone to set up? I'm a bit confused about whether it will be set up on the phone and sync and how the tracking system works in relation to the phone. I'm not sure which device will be tracked - the watch or the phone. Thank you!
Oh! Does that work on the watch too? We use Life 360, but it doesn't function on the smartwatch I bought on Amazon. The watch has its own app, which I downloaded to access it. I would be great if that's work. Thanks for the tip.
