Hi Aman1602,

As you're encountering an error while trying to connect WhatsApp to your Galaxy Watch, please try the following steps:

  1. Update Software

    • On your phone and watch, go to Settings > Software update and install any pending updates.

    • Also update WhatsApp and the Galaxy Wearable app via the Play Store.

  2. Stable Internet Connection

    • Confirm that your phone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data network.

    • Avoid switching networks during the linking process.

  3. Restart Devices

    • Restart both your Galaxy Watch Ultra and your smartphone before attempting to link again.

  4. Clear Cache (Phone)

    • Go to Settings > Apps > WhatsApp > Storage and tap Clear Cache.

    • Do the same for the Galaxy Wearable app.

  5. Try Linking Again

    • Open WhatsApp on your phone.

    • Navigate to Linked Devices > Link a Device.

    • On your watch, open WhatsApp and wait for the 8-digit code to appear. If it fails again, retry after a few minutes.

  6. Factory Reset (Watch) — Last Resort

    • If the issue persists, consider backing up your watch and performing a factory reset via Settings > General > Reset.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, feel free reach out to the community, we will help you further.

As you have already attempted all the recommended troubleshooting steps and the issue still persists, we suggest trying the following alternate measures:

Steps to Wipe Cache Partition

  1. Power Off the Device

    • Press and hold the Power button.

    • Tap Power off and wait until the device shuts down completely.

  2. Enter Recovery Mode

    • Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button simultaneously.

    • Release both buttons when the Samsung logo appears and the device enters Recovery Mode.

  3. Navigate to Wipe Cache Partition

    • Use the Volume Down button to scroll to Wipe cache partition.

    • Press the Power button to select it.

  4. Confirm the Action

    • Use the Volume buttons to highlight Yes.

    • Press the Power button to confirm.

  5. Reboot the Device

    • Once the cache is wiped, the recovery menu will reappear.

    • Select Reboot system now using the Power button.

This process does not delete personal data and can help resolve performance issues, app glitches, or system errors.

After performing the wipe cache partition, it is recommended to keep the device in Safe Mode for a few hours. This will help monitor the system's behavior without interference from third-party applications and determine whether the issue persists under default system conditions.

Here are the formal steps to boot your Samsung device into Safe Mode, which can help identify if third-party apps are causing system issues:

  1. Power Off the Device

    • Press and hold the Power button.

    • Tap Power off and wait until the device shuts down completely.

  2. Power On in Safe Mode

    • Press and hold the Power button until the Samsung logo appears.

    • Immediately press and hold the Volume Down button while the device is booting.

    • Continue holding the Volume Down button until the device finishes restarting.

  3. Confirm Safe Mode

    • Once the device boots up, you will see “Safe Mode” displayed in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

    • In Safe Mode, only system apps will run. This helps determine if third-party apps are causing issues.

To Exit Safe Mode

  • Simply restart your device normally by pressing the Power button and selecting Restart.
