Which do you prefer to use?

Any feed back, or critism on these! I use Gemini currently but I just watched Terminator Genisys and idk.... Seems a bit creepy now.

There's a lot you still cannot do with Gemini without it integrating into Bixby.

Also Bixby is updated for S. Korea so therein our counterpart fans have a much more powerful experience than we do.

This is where the partnership with Google inflicts pain, restrictions and set backs to Samsung which they acquiesce just to save dollars but I feel they're loosing their sweet soul, because after 6 month most of #GalaxyAi gets shared to other OEMs whom just rename the Google features.

Ehh I use Gemini sometimes, and I use Bixby mostly though then making phone calls while biking around the city and such.

Bixby!

Yes I know it pails in comparison to its abilities and needs a HUGE boost or overhaul.

BUT it's NEVER circumvented any settings I've specifically setup on my S23.

Gemini on initial rollout in October/November 2024 and again in early January specifically did the following:

Enabled Google Contacts on my S23 and initiated Sync. Something I've NEVER wanted and VERY careful NOT to allow. If I could uninstall Google Contacts I'd spend every waking hour in a day to do so immediately! Especially if it was permanent.

There was another setting that it changed but I cannot recall currently but that 1st one was VERY orwellien by my standards and I'll not have it.

I'm actually hesitant about getting OneUI 7 due to this force of Gemini and how it'll affect my Jabra Elite Active headphones with all kinds of annoying announcements and disrupting the raise and lower of volume and ANC that's defaulted with the Jabra Sound App. once Google makes the change it makes it VERY difficult and hidden to find hwo to disable its changes !

It's *** like this is cannot stand about Android by Google. It's overhand and NOT cool nor respects the end user.

Gemini is more integrated into the s25. I think maybe you might switch over if you upgrade I don't think it's integrated into the s23 OR s24 yet

I only use Bixby. If they integrate Gemini into Bixby, then I would use Gemini. There's no use of Gemini for me yet. I wish they would integrate GPT or Gemini or Deepseek into Bixby next year instead of giving us two separate apps and force us to choose.

It's s seamless cohesive integration of the 2 in S25 series from what I've read and seen.

Like you is rather Samsung use their own LLMs & libraries they have more than enough experience. Doing this would make for more unique experiences but it seems their too lazy or just not ready. Them again their bespoke lineup is unique and doing well with ai, so it's confusing to me why they didn't go internal.
.
To much reliance on Google means the end of Samsung's soul and what made them leaders in software on their hardware. Having one shouldn't sacrifice the other.

On the S25, it's either Gemini or Bixby on the home button. Oh well, you can still wake Bixby by saying "Hi Bixby," but I don't like this. I prefer they do what they did in the Chinese market and integrate other AI platforms into Bixby, so Bixby can do what it's good at and the other alternatives can support Bixby with the rest. Gemini on the S25 is good at analyzing content but can't do much with phone settings.😂
