Texting issue

I'm having an issue with my note 20 repeatedly sending text messages to 1 person. What can I do to stop it?

Last night I had a conversation through texting that when finished kept re sending the entire message. As of this morning it seems to have stopped but I haven't texted . I've been using Facebook to talk to her.

Hi SusanMG, I suggest you to contact Facebook app support as you have mentioned that you were using Facebook for texting.

No I was using my text on my phone. We started to use messenger when that was happening

So maybe it's stopped...but it went for for hours

Hi SusanMG, I am sorry, my bad. Could you try to delete the contact re-add the contact and check if you are still facing the same issue?

So far I haven't texted her because I'm afraid to try. I've been using messenger on Facebook. When I text her again I can try that
