A50 crash - L2TP/IPSEC VPN

I've been trying to get my L2TP/IPSEC PSK type VPN connection setup. It seems everything is configured correctly, the phone says it connected and server logs show the connection was made.

Problem is after 60 seconds the phone reboots.

Anyone have this type of VPN connection working? 

I have tried on two A50's and both reboot after 60 seconds.

Adding this this thread.... the phone applied February 2020 update. Still the same crash after 60 seconds.

The L2TP connection is established quickly and for what I've tested, functions well until the phone reboots at 60 seconds.

Connection can be made and disconnected multiple times as long as it is disconnected before 60 seconds on a single connection.

we've been advised to only allow L2TP/IPSEC connections so this is still a problem for me.

would love to hear from someone that has the L2TP/IPSEC connections working .

I have the same issue with Samsung Galaxy S9+ (last fw: G965FXXS7DTB1). Connection to Kerio Control VPN Server (IPSec L2TP-PSK) break down after 60 seconds. Phone thinks it still connected, but VPN server had lost connection. I think there is global issue with VPN realisation on Galaxy devices.

Samsung Galaxy M21 - the same problem.
After L2TP/IPSec PSK connection established - the phone reboots in 60-70 seconds. But if I type wrong L2TP login or password - the phone reboots immediatelly when I trying to establish connection.

Hi all, I have Samsung Xcover Pro - the same problem with VPN.

Like you, I am looking for strong permanent free servers..specifically a type.  l2tp

I need.. an address...  IP in Washington DC ..

Where the IP address is better than the server address..because it makes the connection permanent.and automatic operation..
