I just bought a new Samsung A51. Today I attempted to share a photo directly from Gallery to a contact as I always did with my old Samsung A5. When I used the "share" icon, the only thing that came up was "Contacts>Me." No other Contacts and no wat to get to mt contacts list.. When I went into that, it was my profile (never saw this before....) and it assumed that I wanted to make the pic a new profile picture. (What is this Contact>me?) Checked and made changes to permissions to no avail. Anyone? I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
Hi Samsung_PpR4XIE, Are you able to send the pictures from the Messages app. "Me" is nothing but your Profile or your Contact info you set up in your Contacts app. You can add phone number, email, your Emergency contacts in there. Your profile and contact information will be easy to find in case there is an emergency, like if you lose your phone.
Have you cartwheeled into settings/accounts, sync contacts🤷 Of course if your not logged in, do that! and, if on your last device you didn't do this then your contacts will not be synced, so make sure in any case you do this cartwheeling hereafter 🤪✌️👍
