android auto not working

Hi guys, 

I'm new to this forum so forgive me if it has already been asked. 

I just upgraded to the samsung a70, great phone, amazing phone. But my android auto is not working. 

It keeps saying no phone connected.

The system is alpine ilx650.

I have upgraded the fw on it as well. Still nothing.

I bought a new cable. Still no success

Pls help.

welcome to the community, first things first make sure all the permissions are granted in android auto. second check your settings make sure android auto is set to launch as soon as plugged in, make sure bluetooth is paired, the basic stuff
