Galaxy AHi shaigilg2,
Sorry to hear that! After updates, some lag and battery drain can happen due to background processes. Please try the below few things and see if they might help.
Post-update processes can take time to settle. Try using your phone normally for 3–5 days and see if things improve.
Clear cache partition. This can help with lag and weird post-update behavior:
-
Turn off the device.
-
Hold Power + Volume Up until the Samsung logo appears.
-
Use volume buttons to highlight Wipe cache partition, then press Power to select.
-
Reboot the device.
Check for battery-draining apps: Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Usage since last full charge to see if any apps are consuming more than usual.
Update apps & Galaxy Store: Make sure all your apps are up to date via Play Store and Galaxy Store. Outdated apps can cause issues post-update.
If lag and battery drain persist, a factory reset after backing up your data can help clear out conflicts from the update.
