Galaxy A
Almost a year ago my battery life tanked overnight. It's also taking longer and longer to connect to my network after a restart (20-45 min). This started 2 weeks after my 12 month warranty was up.
I've done a factory reset, turned off almost every useful feature, brought to a Samsung authorized repair shop, changed the battery and changed the sim card. I've done every diagnostic tesg that Samsung chat or the internet has suggested. I just spent over 1 hour on chat with Ken only to have him ignore what I told him has been done already and ignore my request to speak to someone else when I got frustrated by answering the same questions. It was so bad, I questioned whether he was actually a person at all.
The only Samsung store in my city has closed and the repair centre Samsung recommended had my phone for over a day and said nothing was wrong.
I tried to send an email and I keep getting sent to a page about clearing your cache.
I charge my phone to 80-90% in the morning, use Bluetooth for about 20min to listen to music on my way to and from work. My phone sits in my locker for 10 hours (minus my 30min lunch break where I check emails or use social media) and by the time I get home I'm usually at 20-30%! That's insane!
Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know the cost of the door to door repair service? Clicking the link just keeps taking me to the repair options page. I don't want to waste any more time trying to communicate with the 'people' who answer chat
I'm at a loss.
At this point I'm going to have to replace my less than 2 year old phone because I just can't rely on it being able to connect to my network or even have the battery power to stay on if I need it. I've had Samsung phones since my 1st smart phone minus one Google. If this isn't fixed, I doubt I'll ever buy a samsung again. This phone is garbage.
