Hi folks,

I have just done a software updated my Samsung A50, Android version 11, now my phone will not auto connect to my car anymore and I need to manually enable this every time I get into the car which is about 15/30 times a day, I have tried to clear the cache but the phone will not allow me to enter boot mode to clear this in case this is the problem, I turned the phone off and turned it back on holding the power and up volume key until the Samsung logo appeared but the phone just boots up as normal, I also deleted the pairing with the car and re paired it but it does not give me the option to auto connect any more, this only happened after my latest software update so just checking if anyone else has had a similar issue with this update.any ideas folks? Am pulling what little hair I have left out of my head. TIA

Hi johnnyirish, Have you tried paring the Bluetooth with other devices ?

And please Reset network settings option. It allows your phone to reset Wi-Fi, Mobile data, and Bluetooth to their initial states.

Follow the steps below to reset network settings.

1.Navigate to Settings. Search for and select Reset network settings.

2.Tap Reset settings, and then tap Reset settings again.

3.If needed, enter your phone security credentials, and then tap Reset.

I have never encountered such a problem since I usually rent luxury cars in which everything always works properly. I think you should try Exotic Car Rentals Miami in order to understand how a good car should work in general. It will also be a great experience for you, especially if it's your first time.
