Galaxy AHi, if your music continues playing even after closing the app, you can try returning to your music app and stopping the music manually or closing the app. If your music continues playing, you can force the app to close.
Open your Settings app >> Tap Apps >> Tap on the Samsung music app and any other music app you wish to close >> Tap Force stop.

Galaxy AI use Spotify subscription. I have Spotify running as one of my "Pinned Apps" in Recents, so it never actually closes.
I just control the music playback from the Lockscreen, Notification or the app itself.
You can try a couple of things with Samsung Music...
Settings > Apps Search for Samsung Music & Clear the cache (NOTE if you Clear the Data as well, you'll have to redownload any of your music.)
Also in Settings > Apps > Samsung Music & scroll down to "Battery" & Select Not Optimized.
Reboot and test.
