I love my Samsung tab s9. I wanted to treat myself and go back to a Samsung phone after years with another brand. Great storage, good security (I think), quality brand name. I am disappointed. Bought a galaxy A 15 because I have no need for a $1500 or more phone. So many things don't work properly on it. First of all I didn't pay enough money for the phone to be eligible for a smart view case. Fair enough. Wake to lift rarely works, double tap to wake works about half the time, keep phone on never works. On a call, screen goes off because you didn't touch it fast enough, then double tap doesn't work so you hit the power button, but now you've ended the call because you haven't thought to change that in settings. On a chat to Samsung support all of a sudden the keyboard won't come up. Hard to type a chat response that way. Overall a disappointing phone. Glad I have my great tablet tho. Just to let people not all products from a good brand are worthwhile☹️

Hi Wooleybear,

We are sorry to hear this from you and certainly understand your disappointment.

If you haven't tried to perform Wipe cache partition, please try Booting into Recovery by Wiping Cache partition. If you wipe your cache partition, it removes any temporary files that may be causing some problems or issues with your device, all of your personal files and/or settings will not be affected when you wipe cache partition.

1. Hold the Power button and Volume Down to open the power options where choose the Power off.

2. When the screen goes dark press the Volume Up and Power keys together.

3. Let go of all held buttons when you see the Recovery mode on the screen.

4. Then you should select Wipe cache partition. Use Volume Up to navigate and the Power button to accept it.

5. Choose Yes and press the Power key to confirm that operation.

6. After that select Reboot system now with the Power key.

Thank you.

I have done this twice already. The first time about 2 weeks after I bought it. I've only had it 3 months.
