Microphone 1 does not work on my galaxy A35, how can i fix it? You have any tips?

Hi,

Sorry to hear this issue. Please try the below steps and see if they help to resolve the issue.

Make sure no case, screen protector, or dust/debris is covering the microphone hole (usually at the bottom near the charging port). Use a soft brush or gently blow around the mic area to clear it.

Restart Your Phone. A simple restart may resolve temporary software glitches.

Test in Safe Mode. To rule out third-party apps interfering:

  • Press and hold the Power button.

  • Tap and hold Power off until Safe Mode appears.

  • Tap it to reboot in Safe Mode.

  • Test your microphone (e.g., via Voice Recorder or Samsung Members test again).

If it works fine in Safe Mode, a third-party app may be causing the issue.

Clear device cache:

  • Power off your phone.

  • Press Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears.

In Recovery mode, use volume keys to select Wipe cache partition, then confirm with the Power key. No data will be lost.

Run Samsung Members Hardware Test Again: Open Samsung Members > Support > Phone diagnostics > Microphone and re-test. See if the microphone status improves.

If none of the above helps and the "Action required" message still appears for the first mic, please visit the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Center to get the device examined by the service technician:
