Failed to download attachment multimedia message

I get text message from strange numbers saying download attachment. After I delete the text I still get a pop up saying failed to download multimedia attachment .  How do stop those notifications even after the text has been deleted.? I have samsung galaxy A51

I get a text from a + number it looks like a picture to download..but I don't open it because it looks like scam. I just delete the text and even after it's been deleted I get this little Grey box

Hi, we suggest you to perform a clear cache and data.

To clear cache and data, go to Settings, swipe to, and touch Apps. Swipe to and touch the message app.
Touch Storage, and then touch Clear cache and clear data.
