multimedia attachment not working

Galaxy A5 user. Whenever i receive a multimedia message like say a photo for instance. It ALWAYS fails to download. Is there anything i can do so it actually downloads and i can see what was sent to me?

Please make sure you have mobile data enabled. If only WiFi, MMS won't download.

As mentioned by @Tallman, make sure the mobile data is enabled. If it hasn't been turned on, you will not be able to send or receive any MMS.
