When I check "find my mobile" storage data there is data used.  I do not use "find my mobile" and this app can't be disabled.  Why is data being used?

Hi SamSungtwo,
Find My Mobile gives you access to the location of your device, even when it’s offline. The default apps are using to make the device function correctly. By default, it has internal storage data as it is a default app. For this reason, it is not possible to disable it on a device.

Halston, What ever this app is doing requires cleaning using "device care" it must be cleaned from memory. Why can it not be shut down if I am not using it?

Hi SamSungtwo, As this feature is very significant and integrated into the android system, this may consume a small amount of data.

I have killed both processes used by fond my mobile and have noticed no operational problems which confirms it is not needed.

why is this app significant? What is it doing that I am not aware? What would happen if I remove it?

Hi, You could not be able to remove this app completely as it is a preinstalled application. Samsung’s Find My Mobile is a free service that is accessed via your Samsung account and allows you to locate, remotely backup and wipe data on a registered Galaxy mobile device. It can be accessed at findmymobile.samsung.com.

Their should be a method to turn this off as it is clearly using memory and is active. Why does Samsung think everyone needs an app that access the phone remotely?
