Galaxy AYou could try popping the SIM card out & back in. See if that makes a difference? You might want to contact your Carrier and get a new SIM.. It's always possible for a SIM to have it's own issues.
You should also run the Diagnostics for the device, see if you get any error messages?

Galaxy AHi cjmartel1976,
It is unusual to hear that you are experiencing mobile data connectivity issues on your Galaxy A16 5G, please follow the steps below to help resolve the problem:
-
Check Mobile Data Settings
-
Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks.
-
Ensure Mobile Data is turned on.
-
Verify that Network Mode is set to 5G/4G/3G/2G (Auto Connect).
-
-
Restart Your Device
-
A simple restart can often resolve temporary network glitches.
-
-
Check SIM Card
-
Remove and reinsert your SIM card to ensure proper placement.
-
Try using the SIM in another device to rule out SIM-related issues.
-
-
Reset Network Settings
-
Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
-
This will reset Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data settings.
-
-
Check for Software Updates
-
Go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
-
Ensure your device is running the latest software version.
-
-
Verify APN Settings
-
Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names (APN).
-
Confirm that the APN settings match those provided by your carrier.
-
-
Test in Safe Mode
-
Boot into Safe Mode to check if third-party apps are interfering.
-
Press and hold the power button > Tap and hold "Power off" > Select Safe Mode.
-
If the issue persists after performing these steps, we recommend visiting the nearest Samsung service center. Our service technicians will examine the device and provide the necessary support.
