My Flyte 990 (made by Resound) hearing aids will not pair with my Galaxy S20 FE.  The phone finds them, but will not pair.  These hearing aids worked fine with my old Galaxy S9+.  Other devices pair fine as well...it's just the hearing aids that will not.

I know the hearing aids are not at fault as they pair with my iPhone and my other android phones.

In addition, the GN Tuner app for my hearing aids is not supported - I believe this is related to my pairing problem.

Hi Delmondo51,

Welcome to the Samsung Members Community Canada.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Please follow the below steps to pair the hearing aids and check:
Open the Settings >> Connections >> Tap Bluetooth >> Enable Bluetooth >> This screen will display all the devices you have connected to in the past as well as all Available devices >> Tap on the device you wish to connect (Please note: most Bluetooth devices need to be actively pairing to be displayed as Available devices. To turn on Bluetooth pairing refer to the instructions for your specific device) >> Depending on the device you're connecting to, the devices will now be paired,

If you are unable to connect then make sure the Bluetooth device is within the range and in the pairing mode.
Go to Settings >> Connections >> Phone visibility >> Activate it.
When connecting it, make sure the hearing aids are within 5-10 feet of each other to get a better experience. If it didn't work then perform clear cache and clear data for the Bluetooth.
Open Settings >> Tap Apps >> Tap the More settings icon (three-dot icon, upper right) >> Tap Show system apps >> Find and tap the Bluetooth app >> Tap Storage >> Tap Clear cache button and Clear Data Button.
Note: Clearing the data will reset the app to factory default settings. Any personal settings saved on the app will be removed.

If the issue persists then you can Reset Network Settings:
Go to Settings >> General Management >>Reset >> Reset Network Settings >> Reset settings.
This will reset all network settings, including those for Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Bluetooth.

I've tried all of that to no avail.  I contacted Resound, the manufacturer of my hearing aids, and they now claim that the S20 FE is not supported...even though the rest of the S20 line is supported.  I'm wondering what is so different from my old Galaxy S9+, and the S20 line that makes the bluetooth not work with my aids?  All my other bluetooth devices work fine with the SE, and my aids work fine with other phones.  It's a mystery to me.

Hi Delmondo51, Unfortunately, we do not have tested information on compatibility with third-party devices. I suggest you please contact the device manufacturer to get more information about the compatibility.

Well samsung should ask Google why so slow and what is the software engineers doing, and it is so important as most tje hearing aids users are depended on Android 12 to support as most phone are updated automatically from 10 to 12 and can't use and go deaf without the hearing aid software support.    Help help.
