I can't seem to find the setting for silent Notifications on certain apps (Discord, Instagram, Reddit). Was it moved or are certain apps not able to have silent notifications?

Hey @Bramalam,

You can block the notifications you don't want. Please follow below steps to block the notifications and note that the settings and functionalities will change as per the new update and version.

From Settings, tap Notifications. Tap See all, and then tap the drop down menu at the top of the page. Select All, and then the switch next to an app to turn its notifications on or off.

But there is no way to have a setting to turn notifications for a certain app Silent to Alarmed, or vice versa?

Yes you can. Go in Settings/Apps and select an app. Then go to Notifications. Tap on a Notification Channel (like "Replies", "New Video from..." etc.) and there you may choose between "Alarm" and "Silent".

PS: The name shown is "Notification categories" but the real, official Android name is Channel)
