I've been with Samsung a long time and they make great phones, but I increasingly get more and more frustrated with each passing year.
It annoys me that they keep unloading services to other companies. Logistics, cost wise I don't care what their reasoning for it.
Back years ago I was so pissed off they unloaded cloud service for photos to push Microsoft on you. First I hate Microsoft and they might as well not offer any free storage as it's next to nothing, so I went with Google and their yearly 200g plan is quite reasonable priced. Therefore, I ended up getting rid of the Samsung photos app, which was great btw to use Google app instead because it just made more sense and was easier to me. The Google app is just fine and have no issues. Now it seems my updates arrive later and later. I don't know if anyone else has this issue but I also switched to Google chrome because even though I love Samsung browser using Chrome with wallet and saved passwords works so much better. Samsung pay and wallet would not always work no matter what I tried. Especially auto fill, which I use Google now. After an update in the summer Samsung wallet was different it added a couple extra steps just to get to my saved passwords. Then finding out that google wallet just works better all the time as where Samsung pay wouldn't. Then there's Bixby. As much as people disliked it I did find it worked quit well, except it came that it would not function right while in the car. I therefore switched to google assistant. I hadn't used Google assistant in years and it works great. I shouldn't forget having to ditch Samsung messages for Google messages for RCS.
Sad to say but happy that I just bought a Pixel phone on a black Friday deal and so far I love it. I never realized before the extra bloatware was on my past phones. Never realized till now how much better the camera is without shutter lag.
Bye Samsung, it's been great but in my mind you dropped the ball too many times for me.
