Galaxy APreviously, I had an iPhone provided by my employer. On the iPhone, it started up the OS immediately after pressing the Power Button, which I never really thought about until I left that job and bought my own Galaxy A11. The iPhone still required a PIN when I wanted to unlock the screen and do something, but the PIN was not required to start the OS.
The Galaxy A11 seems to require that I press the Power button, wait a little while (long enough that I usually need to go do something else while waiting), wake the screen up again, and then enter the PIN before Android will even start. The problem this causes is that even though the phone is 'on', sometimes I forget about this extra required step and go all day without ever starting Android. As a result, I miss phone calls and texts and other notifications.
This is causing a significant problem for me. Is there a way to turn it off without completely disabling the PIN protection?
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read and answer!

Galaxy AThanks for your answer! But no, there doesn't appear to be any settings for 'secure startup' that I could find.

Galaxy AOn my a52
Biometric and security > other security settings > set up sim card lock > disable "lock sim card"
