Hi there. I just did a recent update this month..may 2020, and now my keyboard, has no Gifs or my Bitmoji. I was able to have them on my keyboard before the update. Any way to get them back without using the Bitmoji keyboard?
You have to download that option. I can't remember clearly, but I believe I tapped the three dots on the top right of my keyboard and tapped an option to download more stuff. That brought back the bitmoji option.
Please follow below steps on your phone and check if it works and get back to us with the result.
Open the Message app>>Select one conversation from your contacts(Not a service number)>>Click on emoji symbol on your keyboard.
Please note that the Emojis are available with the phone contacts only. Also, try to clear the cache of your device.
Follow the below steps:
Turn off the device >> Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key >> Once the Android Recovery screen comes up, release the buttons >> Use the Volume Down button until you are highlighting "Wipe cache partition" >> Press the Power button to select "Wipe cache partition" >> Use Volume Down to highlight Yes >> Press the Power button to confirm the action to clear the cache >> Wait for few second as the system wipes the cache >> Press the Power button again to reboot the device.
I have the same issue. I have a Galaxy S10+. I am using the message+ app with the Samsung keyboard. When I hit the GIF button this is the message I get "Can't use GIFs because it's not compatible with the latest version of Samsung Keyboard. "
When I switch to google keyboard the GIFs work just fine in Message+.
