Has the Business Card Scanner been removed? If so, please advise how you have been able to use a different app to once again start scanning business cards.TIA!
I just wanted to comment that I have been an avid Samsung Galaxy owner since the Galaxy s2 smartphone and the 1 thing that I Absolutely HATE is BIXBY (anything Bixby... voice, scan, etc.).
It causes way more Time to do Anything, so I would suggest locating something Google-oriented, as it will be a lot more useful. Also, ANYTIME that customers of Samsung locate a Positive Experience by a New feature, (i.e., Business Card Scanner), on Galaxy-devices, Samsung will inevitably Remove it, and try to force users to use Bixby instead.
I couldn't agree more. Bixby is so bloated and Samsung continue to attempt to push users towards using this product for years now and despite the obvious resistance they repeatedly fail to read the pulse of the user. I'm hard pressed to think of anyone that I know who likes Bixby.
Why Samsung would take a very useful workflow that aided adding contacts quickly, and deprecate it or move it too Bixby is silly IMO. I despise Bixby, so much, I won't even contemplate installing it to obtain this highly sought after feature.
Will explore the Google Lens option or a third-party.
I HATE BIXBY, agree with previous comment, ANYTHING BIXBY...I quite like Samsung and have had one for years (now NOTE10), why, oh why did they remove the card scanner???? IDIOTIC! That is probably my main frustration with Samsung, constant change and good common sense time saving elements disappear and make you want to throw the darned phone away. I'm still sticking with Samsung for now, but we're on thin, fragile ice. 🤨
