Is there any way to optimize my phone camara to make it look better on apps such as Snapchat and Instagram?

Hi, Samsung devices allow you to change the resolution of your photographs. 

Open your camera app and click on Settings in the bottom left corner >> Click on Resolutions >>Then make sure you have the highest possible quality selected.
