Galaxy Note
With my former N10+, I leveraged a Bixby routine to output highest screen resolution when a video app is launched.
Eg. If Netflix launched, then increase screen brightness to 85%, disable blue light filter, activate WQHD resolution.
This feature worked great, and most importantly, when you close the app, all settings are restored to their previous.
It could also act as an excellent tool on Ultra for those on the fence regarding the trade off on dynamic screen refresh vs WQHD screen resolution.
If it worked properly a user can cruise along using the adaptive refresh, and then use routines to amp up the screen resolution when it actually matters.
This almost works on Ultra. Specifically, you can script a routine that enables WQHD upon launch of Netflix(effectively bumping the screen down to 60hz). The problem is that it doesn't revert back to adaptive refresh when Netflix is closed. The user is required to readjust this manually.
Would be good to get this tuned up so that Rountines is working as designed and intended.
Thanks,
