How to get AF Tracking back

I just installed the May update on my Note 9. Now the AF Auto tracking is off. Though screen optimizer is on and my photos are in focus.

Ideas? I might have accidentally turned it off by touching the screen sine how.

Are you talking about Tracking auto-focus for video?

You can go to camera settings → turn on Tracking auto-focus

However, video stabilization will turn off. So, either Tracking anto-focus turn on or video stabilization can turn on.

nope didn't work. I disabled Video IS and AF Auto Tracking was still inaccessible... disabled

If this is the case, can you try

Settigs → Apps → Camera → Storage

clear data and clear cache

* Note: this will reset your personalize settings.
