WOW. I cannot be MORE DISAPPOINTED in this "Link Sharing".
I tried just now to send a few pictures through text messaging and with this "NEW" service, I can no longer send pictures to anyone. I can't uninstall this "App" if that's what you want to call it, but in any event, if this LINK SHARING isn't removed from my phone, I will not buy another Samsung phone again.

I CAN'T STAND THIS GARBAGE PROGRAM.

IT **bleep** DONKEY DINK.

Who's STUPID idea was this?

Hi Tanamir,
Link Sharing is a file sharing app that is able to conveniently upload large files, high-resolution pictures, videos & documents saved on your Samsung Galaxy device or Samsung PC to Samsung Cloud for a period of time, create links to those files and then easily send links to others.
You can easily transfer files up to 3 GB which will be stored in your Samsung Cloud service for 2 days and then will be automatically be deleted.

Please follow the below steps for sharing files from your Samsung phone:
Launch the My Files app My Files app>>Navigate through the My Files folders and locate the file you would like to share. Long press the file to select then tap on Share>> Select Link Sharing >> Select one of the applications to share your link or select Copy to share through a different application >> Once you have shared your link, the receiving device will be able to download the files/ content within the link.

Please Note: The unique Link Sharing code will expire in 10 minutes so make sure the code has been received by your friend/family and downloaded within the given timeframe.

Such BS. Tge files aren't any larger than on my last Phone. Utterly ridiculous you have to take extra steps to send a bloody picture.

I love the link sharing option.  I use it for sharing large files that exceed email limitations or instead of trying to text image by image, etc.

Having said that, a couple of weeks ago, it stopped working.  HEEELP!

I've tried the following w no success:
-uninstall updates
-reinstall updates
-clear cache
-force stop
-clear data
-restarting phone

Using Note 20 5G Ultra.

Not sure what else to try....Any ideas?

Hi TrentonF,

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you for an issue with link sharing on the device.

This may appear on Galaxy devices due to the Google Webview issue and this problem was already resolved with the latest app updates of Android System Webview and Chrome, 89.0.4389.105 version. Therefore please update these apps to the latest version on the following steps and restart the device.

Please follow the steps from the below link to fix the issue.

It's awful. I've been trying to use it for years on a Galaxy s8, s9, s10+ and now i'm on an s21. I use samsung because i'm a graphic designer and I'm always sending large files that need to be high res. Link sharing has never fully worked for me, my biggest issue being that when I upload multiple files and try to download them all at once, It only downloads a select few missing out some files and its a PAIN IN THE A** to find which files you haven't downloaded. I have to download the whole folder about 10 times and it will randomly download some of the missed out files each time i download. It's 2021, what a piece of garbage.
