Hi

After tge new update myfiles doesnt work as it used to be . Documents arw not at obe place and cant use find function within the document . If anyone knows the way to get around of it or to go back to previous version ?

What do you mean by Documeny not in one place? Can you screenshot it and show us?

i mean documents. Before this update , if we open the myfiles app/tab , you coukd see all ur files . now they are in different folders.

Maybe, the folders inside the documents are organised now? Write on PDF is basically writing on PDF(a document), so perhaps the app installed its folder within main Documents folder? 😐

Hi preetnep, Starting from Android 11, data access under the Android/data/package name is impossible due to a restriction of new Android OS. Please let us know from which path and how you are trying to move the file. Please attach a screenshot in case of any error message displayed while performing it.

Hi preetnep, Please make sure the My Files app is updated to the latest version. Could you please let us know the model number and android version of your Samsung device.

Sorry for late reply. I think this is Android11 App-specific files structure. It is a new Google file system (If I am wrong, please correct me). That means if you use the app Write on PDF, files will store under Write on PDF.

But I can select the file, use Move command in MyFiles and move any files to Documents folder.

If you have a computer, try plug it in with USB cable and move files to Document folder.
