This pops up when I try to use the Galaxy Essentials widget. Looking in my app drawer the apk is no longer there. So since the widget can't connect to the apk this scary message appears that send us all over the place in trepidation. The Galaxy Essentials are now in the Samsung Store.

thanks for asking for screen shots. The widget is now operational and I have no idea how. At least the photos show that I didn't dream this up.

ps I used wifi direct to send 2 of the photos from my old s3. may have had an influence,?

WiFi direct may interrupt WiFi communications as this standard repurpose the antennas into creating a WiFi hotspot.

That said multi-band devices are able to do WiFi-Direct and maintain a connection.
