Note 20 Spotify goes to sleep in background

Tried everything allowed all permissions since update to latest UI Spotify goes to sleep in background....is there a setting to change this??? Trying to listen to music without having the phone on and unlocked is no longer a thing?

Sounds like Spotify is either being "Put to Sleep", or "Restricted". 

Go to Settings & Search for "Never Sleeping Apps" & Click on the "+" button to add Spotify to Never Sleeping Apps.

Go to Settings > Apps > Spotify > Battery and make sure that Spotify is either "Optimized" or "Unrestricted". 

I can listen to Spotify all day long without the screen being awake.

It's still easy enough to find "sleeping apps" from Settings, but looks like they moved "Battery Optimization" to Settings > Apps & then select the app you want & then Click on Battery to see the options... Not sure why it's been moved, or I just need more coffee to see elsewhere lol

Samsung is also using the American spelling of "Optimize"... 🙄
