Hi Linc, Did you perform a reset(Factory Reset) on your mobile device? If you are using any phone case, I suggest you to please remove it and check if the issue got resolved.

Hi Ovyone, Could you please test the Wi-Fi connectivity using the Samsung members app.

Open Samsung Members App >> Click on "Get Help" >> Phone care >> View more >> Interactive checks >> Test Wi-Fi.

same thing with my two Samsung tablets. Wifi is simply unreliable on those things. I should have gone with an iPad. So regret it now. Have a tab A 2018 and a brand new Tab S6 lite. This seems to have started after an update back in september for the tab A and as soon as I purchase and updated the S6 lite. I may well return that later to Amazon. All of my other devices (phones, laptops, etc.) have no problem connecting to the same wifi. Please do not ask me to do a factory reset. The tab S6 is brand new and has the problem. Doing a factory reset each time I have a Wifi problem is not a viable solution. I do not reset Windows to factory when I have problems with the wifi.

Hi FrankM99, I suggest you to perform the wipe cache partition and check if the issue got resolved. Please follow the below steps to perform the wipe cache partition.

1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key.
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
6. Press Bixby / Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Bixby / Power key to select.
8. When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Bixby / Power key to restart the device.

Hi,

Will this delete the apps and data that are currently on the tablet? Right now, what I need to do to fix my wifi connection problems (slow or no internet even when if wifi indicates connect) on both tabs is to go in wifi connection settings, manage networks and delete my wifi connection. Then I reconnect, re-enter my wifi password and my wifi is back to normal. Until it happens again. Never had that problem in the two years that I owned the Tab A before what seems to be an update in september. Did not change router nor anything related either. And now the same thing with the brand new S6 lite but not any of my computers, phones or other connected devices.

Hi FrankM99,

Performing a wipe cache partition removes any temporary files that may be causing an issue with the device. All personal files and settings are not affected by this option.
